Bravo Sherwoodians!!

Congratulations for producing an excellent result without ignoring activities and excursions.

Both ICSE (X) and ISC (XII) have produced a 100% result.. a proud moment for the school.

You have once again proved to the world that constructive deviations (taking part in art, music, games, excursions, etc.) are never a hindrance to performance in academics.

Committed Teachers of Sherwood:

Congratulations for producing 100% results, once again..!

In my language it is more than 100% because we allow every child to take board examination, irrespective of the marks they score in Class VI, VII, VIII or IX.

Never has Sherwood detained a child in these classes for scoring 20% or 50% in internal examinations,

Never has Sherwood allowed only high achievers to show good results to the society.

Our Mantra - Children scoring less marks in academics need moral support and counseling and NOT detention.

Asking a child to leave the school for scoring less marks in Class VI-IX is criminal to the spirit of Education.

Those who are not satisfied with the marks they scored in Board Examination, please read the following lines from an ex-Sherwoodian.

…I admit, I could not do well in my Boards, looking at my percentage. I will boldly declare that I got less marks. It’s for the world to realize that what I need to go ahead in life is not just my marks. I am proud to say that I have inculcated every quality, value and virtues given to me in Sherwood.

Sherwood has built my soul, my spirit. These will not waver in any storm I face ahead in future. I have taken part in music, elocution, skits, dramas, debates, essays, football, cricket, volleyball…… and last but not the last, in excursions. I have trekked down the mountains of the Himalayas, spent nights in the forest near Chandrapur, lived in tents under all odd conditions but with smile on face and enthusiasm at heart…

The knowledge, the courage, the strength I have gained from these activities is much more than any formula. “I was born from Sherwood and I will die for it.” This is my Alma Mater and I will worship it
wherever I am…
